I have just secured a gig in Swansea. A house has come up for rent. An old lady who needs to go into a home.

I have heard stories about the "creepy" neighbour though. Apparently he causes trouble at the library too.

Yes.

Lunch was roast beef (Morrisons, reduced) which I suspect was very lean.

Nice enough piece of meat but the gravy was awful

Forgot the rice pud again, so stewed the remaining Braeburn apples to make them mildly palatable with custard.

Followed by 1.06 pints of Good Glengettie Tea because I filled the teapot just that little bit too much.

After the finishing of BTVS and Angel, I'm tempted to watch The Dresden Files, which I found amusing about 10 years ago.

I'm also tempted by Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with that Obi Wan chap playing George Smiley.

It's excellent and well worth a watch. Sticks to the book very closely. Better than the Film version they did more recently.

the addled one has been discharged into a very nice care home for four weeks.
giving my partner some respite.
unfortunately, the sociopathic brother and his son are emotionally attacking her for letting this happen, even though they have provided NO support whatsoever for the last ten years of her constant care.
i'm being supportive, but i've had to promise not to seek them out and deliver a Glasgow Kiss<tm>.
i'm now stressed, by the old definition.

i'll just have to have another go at arsewipe and his chums i suppose.
