Sonic Boomed
Who would have thought that I'd be celebrating working and earning less but that day has finally come!
3 days a week for November and likely to continue beyond that for a few more months. After that will be 3-4 days with the extra day at my own descretion!

Christmas wish list
I've just found out I'm on the good list after sitting on a certain somebody's lap. I've asked for a sticky and a chocolate orange.
I wonder what's on everyone else's list because I could do with some more ideas?
I was just about to wrap a Gorilla referral bonus for NLUK...

BBC Question Time thread
I notice that BBC Question Time is quite a popular topic in the Brexiteer Community so we should have one here.

Views on the make of that...

In case you missed it, Hammond has caved in. Hard Brexit it is.
Philip Hammond has 'come to heel' over Brexit as Theresa May returns, say anti-EU Conservatives | The Independent
It's going to be entertaining for those of us who don't have to bear the consequences, but it's truly a sad outcome for the country as a whole.

Teresa has played a blinder
Firstly, remember she was a Remainer. Why would she change her beliefs?
So she's in power, makes some outrageous right-wing statements, pretends she's for a hard Brexit (which really is only supported by cretins), pretends to ignore 48% of the electorate, thus pissing them off, then calls an...

Jokari?
There was a very long length of elastic with a power ball on one end and a heavy block of wood on the other which one would set down in a quiet street or anywhere with a hard surface.
The object was to whack the ball with a wooden bat and it would fly far as the...

PM FAO Admin & the Mods
As we now appear to be pretty much merging every thread into another thread so it appears no-one is creating any new ones (ie. Brexit, Daily Mail) I note there are some others we've not yet done.

Client accidentally told me rate they pay - weird conversation.
Not the first time this has happened in the past....
Anyway, client manager whos a decent fella sent me the confirmation to confirm my extension was sorted but it displayed the rate they pay not the one I get. So I found out the margin. Pleased it was pretty ok to be honest.

Outdoor Webcams / Camera
Thinking of getting a security camera outside. Our house has a long fence running down the side of the road and we've had some issues with kids kicking holes in the fences, a house broken into across the road and some arsehole who insists on letting their dog tulip in our front garden (Not caught him...

Question for the cyclists
So I've been back out on the bike for the last few weeks, cycling everywhere around and about. I've also been doing a circuit each day, it's not long about 6 miles which requires me to cycle up a hill for two miles that gets steeper as you climb. Did the circuit twice this morning in just over an hour....

Curmudgeon in training
This past couple of years SY02 has been telling me that I am getting grumpier. I think most of it stems from the sameyness of situations and people, and really just wanting person X, who reminds me of person Y from yesteryear to just finish their diatribe which I have heard before so I can get on with...

The law is an ass
Apparently, I'm not allowed to kill actors who ask dumb questions and make stupid suggestions one week before the curtain goes up on the show I'm directing.
I'm sure that project managers are allowed to shoot team members who do likewise, one week before go live? It's one law for the...

It's too damn hot. Clear blue sky, desert sun beating down high above. I'm sweating like Suity blindfolded and tied to a chair in a pie shop. I saw a little fella in orange burst into flames earlier.
