Received a new contract for review today. 6 months, 1 week's notice either side but with a trial period of 7 days on the schedule.
Not seen a contract ever with a trial period specified, and as this is a company I have not worked with before am a bit uneasy. This is via an agency - anyone...

Contract extension sent 2 and a half months before my contract ends
I have never heard of giving this much notice to renew. I'm only 3 and a half months into a 6 month contract and yesterday my agency sent me a contract renewal through asking me to sign it as soon as possible.
