If you dedicated just a portion of the hours you spend reading the Daily Mail and Fox News to something pleasurable, I'm convinced you'd be much happier.
Unless he actually does something then I don't think we've anything to worry about. Iran, Saudi and Egypt will never declare war on the US. There'll be a bit of flag burning but not much else.

I can't learn more than one at the same time, I did briefly try Italian and Dutch but it was a disaster.
I used Duolingo and local language websites/news reports to read and listen to the spoken language. Duo isn't really very good but it does give you a start.
