Well, I get your point. I had much more fun in a Ferrari (as a passenger) driving across the Jura mountains than driving from Munich in it. Having driven last year on the American freeways, I'd say they're the least boring of the rapid transit routes....

I have fond memories of driving around Frankfurt one Sunday morning. At 160kph I was the slowest thing on there. Plenty of curves to keep sadkingbilly less sad. The A96 to Munich isn't entirely straight either....

I use Claude. Today I used Claude Code to finish off organising my photos. I'd start a few years back, putting them into folders of YYYY-MM, but never got back to it. Claude Code did the entire job within about half an hour.

Since I started this thread, I've started using Claude Code with ABAP development. Two modes - MCP for read only access to the SAP server, and via git. With git Claude can change the local clone - while syntax checking via MCP. It doesn't do git operations at all.

I did and never had any reason to regret that. Kids hit the expensive time when I was at peak earning power, and now I'm still young enough to enjoy my grandchildren.
