The covid trial people phoned me up to quiz me on my lurgy. I did email them last week but they missed the message. They only called me today because of a fortnightly survey I have to fill in.

Apparently February 28th is Global Scouse Day, as proclaimed by some bloke on Twitter who thought scouse deserved a day. So tea has been lamb scouse with some bits of white bread, and very nice it was too

I noticed there was an odd glow on the horizon through the bedroom window, then realised it's from the association football people, who I understand have got their friends over for a kickaround this evening. No longer do I get to observe the bescarfed multitudes making their way thither, thereby alerting me to what's going on

Yes, I requested more tests. The trial ends in April sadly. It's been quite easy

Grey day with a slight chance of some leftover drizzle from overnight. Currently 4°C, aiming for 7° this afternoon, and the barometers are down a bit but in the same sort of range at 1020/1028mB

Volunteer to inspect footpaths. Map arrived yesterday. I shall be out wobbling footpath signs soon, most exciting thing in my life. Other things I'd prefer to be wobbling.
