Got an email from a lady in Kazakhstan promising me plenty of photos. One good thing about lots of scam emails to your business email address or generic requests from your website contact page is it shows you have a decent presence...

Yeh. Same happened to me a while ago. Annoying!

Shortish walk today, been doing 2+ hour walks this week doing footpath inspections. Drink at village club earlier followed by call on lady next door....

Usual incredible luck with weather. Spent 3 hrs doing footpath inspections, dry and mostly bright. Then rain started 5mins after I got back to the van.

Yeh, U etc just do old stuff but there used to be a few things worth watching, rarely find anything now. Still, sticks are useful if you missed something recent and have an old TV that doesn't work with iPlayer, my5 etc catchups....

Mahjongy thing soon with old usual ladies. Loony lady 3 is asking me about way of getting more TV channels. Trouble is, if she gets a Roku/Fire etc stick she will probably expect me to set it up, be constantly asking me how to use it, sign into channels etc. Non techy people with techy stuff are a pain...

Nowt on next few days, suppose I can take annoying loony lady 3 out. She seems very isolated.

Bit creepy, hardly ever use facebook, but just had a popup Facebook notification to "friend" someone who's dead! Turns out it's a bloke with same name that I don't know.

Another 2+ hr doing footpath inspection. Back & relax with me puppet parrot. I see that local woodland charity has a photo of volunteers on it's main page, I'm right in the middle with a youngish lady, her arm round me shoulder.

Went to visit lady next door. Seemed surprisingly cheerful considering the news. Village club after, chat with her husband & other usual lot.

Took me longer doing footpath report than inspection itself. Making sense of my scrawlings, getting lat/lon locations from photos, converting...

Long walk doing toothpaste, I mean footpath, inspection for the council. Must visit lady next door later.

Woodland volunteery thing this morning. Bit boring, clearing stuff back from newly planted trees, but nice company and brill location.

Gordon Bennet. More bad news. My nice lady neighbour just phoned to say she's been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Darn it, bloke who leads our karaoke group has had another stroke. Too many people I know falling to bits or passing away. Don't get old.

Was pleasantly surprised to get a letter saying I will get the winter fuel allowance, thought they stopped that. Then did a Google and found that HMRC will just claw it back by changing my tax code as my income is over £35k. Grrr!!!!!

Back from another visit to little local art group. Better than dozing around at home.

Local lone walk this morning, got back just before rain got too rainy. Managed to find a little pond me and kids used to go to, pretty inaccessible now and full of fallen branches.

Loony lady 3 earlier. Got back to her place and she found she'd left her walking stick in the cafe. Said I'd collect it for her when I went on me walk tomorrow but she insisted we drive all the way back! She drives me nuts!

Mood improved by call in at a local art exhibition where I know...

Loony lady 3 soon. Odd thing when went shopping earlier there was a big van with a US flag and MIAMI POLICE on the back. Surely, if it was just a joke, you wouldn't be allowed to write POLICE on a vehicle.

Loony lady 1 later. Prob ll2 tomorrow and cinema with ll3 on Monday. To much loony ladying. Actually 3 is not loony, needs a rename.
