So not sure what you mean by NSL repeaters along urban motorways. Unless you mean 60mph or 50mph repeaters (which are not NSL).
NSL on a motorway or dual carriage is still the NSL (70 in a car, 60 in a large van).
It is possible to learn something on speed awareness courses.
I learnt that the limit will always be 30 or 60, unless something tells you otherwise. If you're not sure, it's 30 if lit, 60 if dark, until you see a repeater.
