Kinda missing the point with your data here.
White British in London are just over 50% with Asian 21% and Black 13.5% plus various mixed race.
So, not surprising that the place where most of the jobs are has a different mix to your expectations/experience/rose-tinted whate...

My experience in the past 10 years in banking/insurance/trading has been that 80% of the devs and QAs have been Indian (heritage).
There has also been a fair bit of use of East European consultancies and mostly, they've all been very good.
My current client has definitely offshored a lot...

Exactly that. For us, it's legal migration that's the issue regarding work in IT.
The boats things is a very visible indicator that the UK doesn't have control of borders/immigration (remember 'take back control'?)
Anyway, a digital ID would provide more/easier control and...

After considering the initial applications/settlements, we should then think about family imports.
The UK is tightening that up now, but it's been (apparently) easily possible for one asylum seeker to bring in another half dozen relatives fairly quickly once accepted.

This just isn't an argument anymore. Google and a huge number of other companies have been doing this for years and people have been pretty happy to let them get away with it, in exchange for convenient services.
If the argument is that we should trust Google more than the UK state then lol....

I can't quite believe the hysterical cries of 'tyranny' in the comments of media sites today.
The state needs a way to identify people who have the right to services and digital ID is a better way than the way we do it at the moment.
NI numbers for instance which are not linked to...

You can use this site to check https://www.itjobswatch.co.uk/
BA roles have picked up a bit recently. Test Manager looks like it's fallen off a cliff but you can also check QA Manager, QA Test Manager etc....

Oh dear, someone clearly has NO idea how vaccines work or the danger of spreading misinformation.
The good people of Florida have clearly decided they have a surfeit of children because the measles vaccination rate is down and kids are dying.
Seriously.
I still have a job, but...
