I'm not sure that SC is all that these days - I've held it a couple of times ... and still do technically until a year has passed from exiting the role that needed it. Can't say it really helped me when looking for my next role....

Surely this has always been an option? Well it has been for my skillset anyway - I'm a PM [yeah yeah SKB, we exist] and haven't typically had any issues finding roles.

I finished one at the end of June ... had planned to have a few months off but got contacted by someone I have worked with...

Why flame a network that can help and has previously been a good source of work? In my short ten years of contracting all except my first contract has come from connections on LI. Be lost without it really .......
