Thanks. Relationship is good, but the work is all but finished which is what is causing me overthink this. I might be passing on an opportunity to get paid to twiddle my thumb.
They were looking for a new project for me, but with the notice in, there is no point from client's side.

My situation/question is a bit different. My notice is two weeks, so if I ask them today, technically they can ask me to finish on 29th May. I want to work till 5th June so as to not have any bench time, so the question is whether I just wait out another week before sharing the news....

Handing in notice earlier than needed, bad idea?
Hello, I don't think I have been in this situation before, or too long to remember.
I have 2 week notice on my current Inside contract (ends June end), I have delivered the projects I came in to do nearly two years ago now and really just wrapping things up, some risk closures, documentations,...
