Might have to do that if it's still taking hours to get through EU border controls next time we travel. Although will feel a bit of a fraud compared to people in wheelchairs etc....

You might be ok now the outbound Xmas/New Year rush is over. From what I hear it's only a TSS if lots of full planes arrive around the same time....

Been looking at cordless ones. Most seem to only have a capacity of around 0.5L, compared to 2-3L for a corded one. Could see them filling up very quickly with our hairy beasts.
Don't you find you're forever emptying them?

Sorry to hear that WTFH
Mine aren't that bad (yet). Just can't walk the dog far any more. And travelling has become a pain; stuck standing in airport queues.

It's the "brits abroad" places that will suffer the most. I think I read that 30% through Malaga are brits, and I know with Lanzarote it's over 50%.
When they conceived the system, in the early 2000s, non-EU travellers in Schengen were a minority. We've thrown a spanner in the...

Even if I was keen, unless I went private, delay would be the operative word. Woman at the boarding kennels where we take our dog had to wait 3 years for one knee and then another 2 for the other knee....

Knee arthritis
Anyone here suffer from this?
Had it for years but has been getting worse lately. GP wants to prescribe oral NSAIDs. Also mentioned hydrocortisone injections. Said I'd have a think about it.
Wondering if any of the following might help.
Topical NSAIDs eg Voltarol....

EES delays
Seeing reports of 2-3 hour queues to get through immigration in the Canaries. Being a winter sun destination, it's high season at the moment.
EES only went live in October so summer destinations haven't been "stress tested" yet. Next July/August at the likes of Malaga, Alicante,...

Who needs to think when you've got a phone to do it for you.
That film Idiocracy may well turn out to be all too prophetic.

Driverless trains are relatively easy. They're on fixed tracks. There are relatively few trains on the track. The journey is predictable/consistent.
On the face of it, pilot-less planes sound complex but, apart from around the airports, airspace is obstacle free and very sparsely occupied....

I can believe that. Many eons ago I used to mow the lawn with a corded mower. What a PITA that was.
My only slight concern, like when I switched from petrol to battery mower, is whether a cordless vac would be powerful enough but it sounds like it should be ok....
