It's very echoey in here now.

I found a chair.

It's quite surreal in its way.

Cupboards full of china empty and forlorn.

Marks on the wallpaper where pictures once hung.

Ditto for places where plates once hung.

The front room carpet was chopped up & removed.

The dining room carpet is rolled up in a big ball in the outside bog.

Tis all change.

I'm quite sad that the grandfather clock had to go but there's nowhere to put it.

My grandmother's pictures went too which is even more upsetting but there you go.

ZeityTowers has been filled full of stuff, so much so that I had to move some of it so I could sit down & watch some telly.

The answering machine has a low battery and refuses to do anything until it's replaced.

This evening's first feature was "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962) with that Francis Sinatra geezer again. Whatever happened to him?

My Sis has done a lot, including sorting the house clearers yesterday.

The ZeitNephew & spouse, not so much.

In fact, practically feck all if I'm honest.

Merely getting them to say wtf they wanted took from March until last fecking Monday.

My bedroom in here is untouched, which is just as well since they couldn't have fitted anything more in that van if they'd tried.

Tomorrow I shall attempt to get some things sorted since I'm back in work on Friday, and it's ZeitSis's birthday party on Saturday evening.

Main thing is the washing machine is where I wanted it.

In with the hoi polloi after having my haircut.

Just as well I did it in that order coz the queue in the barbers built up to epic proportions.

Oh, and to make my joy homicidal tendencies complete, there's another "compulsory" "training session" in the Dylan Thomas centre next week.
