      Popped round to Sainsbury's Local to get milk and a lemon for the pancake festivities later. Coming back, I went into the bakery for a bacon cob. She said "We've only got soft cobs, is that alright?" which makes no sense as cobs are crusty by definition

      Anyway, now having a bacon bap

          Lunch has been sausages in finger rolls, because I'd already defrosted them before I was seduced by the siren song of the bakery's bacon baps

                  As I'd bought milk for the pancakes, I activated the teapot and have had a couple of nice big mugs of afternoon tea

                  And the pancake mix has been made according to a previously successful recipe, and left to do whatever it does in the fridge.

                    I'd halved the quantities in the recipe as eight seemed rather a lot. Four was certainly enough, but they aren't actually very filling so I'll be having something else later
