A recruiter contact of mine on LinkedIn recently shared a contract role that someone else had forwarded to him. This made me weep.
Location: East Midlands
Role: IT Support Engineer
Rate: £80-100 per day INSIDE IR35
Duration: 3 months initially
"This fast growing manufacturing organisation is looking for an IT Support Engineer who has worked in a similar role before and can hit the ground running. Will involve working on site and remotely and involve travel around the East Midlands."
After tax, that is probably less than Morrisons are paying staff as their minimum wage from April (£10ph)?!?Comment

Completely and absolutely not necessarily indicative of The Market but, after a number of months of many false starts from April 2020, I interviewed Wednesday, contracts sorted Thursday and Friday, and started Monday.
Six months. Outside IR35 (for now).
Yahoo and a mini wave to me.
The very best of luck to all others.Comment
