This misses my point. They need to check what they have on you against whatever proof you give them. If you give them proof. Why send them ID with your DOB if they don't have it on file? This is taken directly from the ICO website:

That may have been correct but a lot of this paperwork disappeared which is why these people were trying to get people to log into these fake Trust Helpline portals - tmyoy had to provide various bits of ID to get in. I saw that back in 2018 and knew straight away it was information grabbing exercise....

This is likely incorrect. I will go as far as saying I am 99% certain they don't have anyone's correct date of birth. They certainly don't have mine. And you also have your driving license number on there and potentially your new address which is quite crucial as these people have been falsifying agreements...

Be careful with these requests for ID and if you decide to send them. For example, they should be able to validate what you provide them as ID against the information they hold on you. It needs to be relevant/proportionate.

Elysium are a waste of space. This has become a massive cash cow for them. The sums they are making are eye watering. Greenwoods "sound" good, but my issue is:

1. How they managed to make it onto the letters for Trethowans as a point of contact when they hadn't even worked on...

It's two seperate things. The SAR is an information request i.e. what information do you hold for me.

Depending on what they likely don't have, you will then be able to use that to dispute the debt should it ever go to court which seems extremely unlikely....

You can ask for it but it has to be worded in the correct away I think. For example:

Citizen advice bureau or FCA (can't rememeber which) sent me a template disputing a debt and using the statute barred clause which doesn't actually ackowldge the loan....

Having dealt with them, it isn't that easy. The milestones and strategy kept changing. The way solicitors work is new strategy = new instruction. New instruction = new costs. You go from paying one "fixed fee" to then having to pay 3 times what you initally paid due to the "new instruction"...

If they fall under CCA regs (which they don't), then they are statute barred if you haven't made a payment 6 years or ackowldged the debt....

They used a "bailiff" company to issue demands for payment - it was Town and Country. West 28th issued letters directly themselves...

There is no problem to be honest. The biggest own goal they scored was trying to regularising these "loans" under the CCA. And they are going to look like plebs if they u turn that idea too. It's a sign of desperation and they are trying everything to get this to stick...

I spoke to someone who knows the idiot who is running. West 28. He said it's the solicitors who are pushing this. They believe they have a case. So the no win no fee theory probably stacks up.

They have a loan book of close to a billion - well it's names on a spreadsheet with no evidence...
