I had an email asking for ID from Lawfront but that’s it...

If Dan is saying wait and Elysium stance is take advice then how can they be working together as this seems quite contradictory to a simple man as myself?
Think I'll take Dan's advice for now...

solicitors letter cost £350
but that was just a basic warning off letter in 2023. At the time it seemed to work, until now but hopefully be used as leverage as they never replied...

Yes.
I got my own solicitor to send an email to the debt collector they used called Workcap. Never heard anything back until this round, so I think you are correct hopefully could work against them....

Sent my SAR to Lawfront Saturday.
Got a an email requesting ID this afternoon via email. I didn't put by email address on the request so they must have some information...

I have sent my SAR to Lawfront this morning via recorded delivery but looking on the law society website they are not registered with them so obviously just a cash vessel for the others in their group of companies.
This could mean one of two outcomes in my eyes.
They won’t care as long...Last edited by Thunderpants; 17 May 2026, 09:26.

I have sent him the cover letter and a copy of my ‘loan’ agreement .
He seemed very interested and was very responsive ,I’m sure the more people sent him stuff from the own schemes, the better picture he could build....

I have just contacted FCA via the contact form on their website and uploaded the cover letters and my original loan form also gave them a brief history of my own case (Eximius, THL, Felicitas, Workcap, W28 & Trethowans) see what they come back with....

Asking as a layman.
what if you neither have the money to either pay the scam or solicitors?
I know plenty of guys who were put on the scheme as there was no other option besides not working...Last edited by Thunderpants; 12 May 2026, 09:19.

Yes I do, that was the time I woke up to this. Previously I just ripped up the letters from THL & Felicitas as I was dealing with HMRC
Tbh assignment wasn't mentioned but workcap were representing W28 so as far as I'm concerned it could be fraudulent....Last edited by Thunderpants; 9 May 2026, 18:08.

Last time (2023) I got a local solicitor to send them a letter to Workcap(£350) and never heard anything back until the new entity reared its ugly head. They knew they weren’t getting anywhere and that gives me heart in this one.
couple of things though that don’t sit right
Felicitas...
