    Morning denizens

Sunny start out, which isn't what I ordered

Currently 15°C and expected to reach 22°C, with a chance of some cloud returning this afternoon. The barometers are trivially down again, at 1005/1013mB

        Morning.

        Damply dry.

        Blue sky in parts.

        Wanly sunny.

Cool in here at 21.4 deg.

1011 mBar, 29.855 in Hg, 758.3 Torr, 14.6633 psi, (up from 1008 last night), 69% RH.

        Friday.

        Odd dreams with waking at 03:34, 05:40, 06:33, 07:45.

Oddest of the dreams was the final one which involved the QA dept of the Mag Tape division of 3M, something that hasn't existed for 30 years or more.

There was even an Ampex VR2000 present, which was even more surreal since they've been obsolete for 40 years or more.

Curiously it would appear to have involved a 16 hour shift, something I haven't worked in nearly 44 years.

        Shirts in the WM.

Whilst back in December 4th 2018 NF made a trip to the hospital returning through a park that had previously been a railway scrapyard, teasing Gricer with a photo of DMUs piled up awaiting the torch, whereas Ye Newe Sloughe of Desponde was suffereing traumas due to the incompetence of the scamming bastards running the carpark facility, a matter of little concern to me, oddly enough.

Shirts out of the WM & hanging on the line: they're not drying very well today.

        Cottons in the WM.

Shirts in off the line & roughly iRoned, now airing upstairs.

Cottons out of the WM & hanging on the line.

        Smalls in the WM.

Smalls out of the WM and hanging on the line.

Tea towels & pillow slip iRoned & airing over the banisters.

Lunch: scrambled egg and poached tomato on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed toast, marmalade on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed toast, bramble jelly sandwich, yellow corner yog, another yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Last week's line dried towels approximate to 40 grit sandpaper.

Entertainment: R4, R3 and Classic FM whilst iRoning.

        TWAO.

Sounds like The Summer of Our Discount Tent is progressing well: glad I don't live in that London.

Walk (unabbreviated) walked in the wan sunshine & breezy breeze.

The pillow cases are off the line & iRoned, the towels are airing over the banissters.

The smalls are airing in the front bedroom whilst the socks remain on the line because they're padded & very slow to dry.

Tea: battered cod, stewed apple & custard, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Entertainment: Wheeler Dealers S11 E10 Audi TT Quattro with 1st & 2nd missing, bought for £1500.

Car SOS: Ford Model A: you'd need two baskets for this case. .

Alias S5 E1 "Prophet Five": bad news for Andre Michaux: don't start reading War & Peace.

Commentary on S5 E1: mildly amusing.

        Alias S5 E2 " Freecell score: 73%, running average 85%.

          Morning all

The sky was quite clear earlier this morning with occasional fluff but it's since clouded over. Still bright though. A nice breeze is wafting about. Currently 20 degrees with a high of 23 expected. Barometer down a tiny bit to 1013 mBar.

Busy morning, many meetings. Now contemplating whether to pop out to the shops.

Might be hazy over North Devon, but based on how clear the Hercules was that just flew past, visibility is good in the nicer parts of the county.

Oh, and a big thank you for "introducing" me to the 3pm quiz.

Actually, it must be murky here... as it was an A400M (not Hercules) out of BZZ that's been for a tour of the Brecon Beacons and is now heading back towards base.

Was that Tom Cruise bloke hanging off the side?

Saw the A400M flying down the valley some years ago. Took a while to figure out WTF it was.

Tea: thick-cut ribeye steak with chips, fried onions and beans

Today was stressful in the way only attempting to deploy two major features on a Friday can be

The second didn't go in the end because once the two codebases were put together by merging the pull request for the second one, it turned out it included modifications to something that the first one expected to work differently. I wasn't prepared to start digging into that mess at quarter to seven in the evening, and nobody else seemed keen, so we left it for Monday
