What a muppet her Professor is. His last words to her could have been a gift, now its an insult.Originally posted by NotAllThere View Post
Bad feedback as in "You did really badly. In normal times I'd have failed you. You have to do better or you won't get anywhere...". But it's utterly irrelevant. She passed, she won't have this professor again, and in other areas of lab work, she's got good passes and good feedback, so she's perhaps not too bad after all.

 Afternoon all.

Lunch has been warm chicory and sausage salad.

Bit of a scare first thing this morning. Rescued hog from yesterday was cold and unresponsive this morning and we feared the worst, but eventually we got a very small movement and sign of breath so brought her inside and onto a hot water bottle to warm up and she's now doing much better. She's so malnourished that she can't keep herself warm properly despite plenty of food and water yesterday. Still sleeping as expected but now responding when checked on, moving about and curling / uncurling. Hopefully over the worst now and a few more days TLC will put her right."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

Lunch was the last of the broccoli and blue cheese soup with a slice of toast. Except, I got bored of the soup and just ate the toast.Comment

Yes. My daughter thinks that it might be that most of the students doing that module would be going into biochemical/biopharmacy research, where lab skills are rather different from those needed for her BSc - pharmaceutical engineering.Originally posted by vetran View Post
