That's what I find amusing about many of the ancient receipts for books, dvds, and such like.

Just a blank piece of paper.

The oddest are the ones where the receipt was put in a book with some of it poking out.

The bit in the book is blank whereas the bit that was exposed is still readable.

Hurray! I now have working lights in the kitchen.

Well, technically not the kitchen, a little area off to the side where the fridge freezer and booze are kept.

          Morning denizens

Bright sunny day out, up to 17°C so far, with a predominantly blue sky

Which is odd, as the weather app informs me that we have "fog"

In light of this, I'm not sure how much reliance to place on its prediction that later will be cloudy with a 50% chance of rain and maybe even thunderstorms

                  Freecell score: 100%, running average 83% (83.11%).

Lunch: carrot & corriander soup (Heinz), Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed bread, ham & mustard sandwich on Hovis multigrain, red corner yog thing, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Oh, and an ibuprofen tablet to wash it all down with.

Eugh, very humid in northern Mancunia at the moment. Clouds need to either disperse or dump their load.
