Sunday I cut myself chopping vegetables. It was getting better. Banged my thumb this morning and claret everywhere. I even got some on my shirt. I am well hacked off.

Dangerous those vegetables. I should stick to meat and junk food. I can't be blamed for being an idiot, no way.....

...but yes, as per yesterday she appears to have made a full recovery, although I won’t be home until tomorrow night to see her.

Just had yet another of those annoying phone calls that rings, you pick it up, there's silence, then a recorded voice says "Goodbye".

Had one the other day which had some rather less than native speaker of English on the other end who I couldn't understand and the mother****er started swearing at me.
