The mistake they are making is that I did a lot of baby sitting in my late teens and early 20s so I learnt then to answer the same question the same way without swearing at the child asking the question. It worked too, rather better than the way I'd approached it in "work" that day.
IIRC it had something to do with processing datalogging floppies or somesuch.
