I am, have received the letter warning that there’s more to come. That was quite a while ago, not sure what the hold-up is given they’re just pulling the figures from their batty.

Hopefully they won't start writing them before they strike, a good strike lasting months is what we need.

I really don't understand how can they just throw up figures that then you have to correct. This will affect so many lives and people's health, and they don't seem to care. I know it's affecting me a great deal.

They threw them out there because they were on a very tight deadline to get the 17/18 determinations out, this was a culmination of nearly 7 years of work and they very nearly missed the deadline, so I guess they just did a a best guess to get them out the door.

It certainly hasn't done them any harm.

And yes they have no care of you our your company, the more scared and mentally challenged they can make you the better it is for them.

April 5th 2023 - 4 years after the end of the tax year.

Speaking with tax specialists and insurance companies, it's almost a given that HMRC will appeal to a higher court if they lose.

If that's the case, and reading about the contributions made to CK and the DK group (for Boox), what's the point in winning the FTT if CK or Boox have no funds to fight the appeal? Is there a point to fight HMRC if they are counting on unlimited resources/funds?

Do we have any chances here if HMRC is not willing to even look at our appeals? Or, is there anything else we can do to proof that neither CK or Boox were managing our companies?

Someone else can confirm this but I understand CK's aim was to raise enough funds to take it all the way (ie. FTT -> UTT -> Court of Appeal -> Supreme Court).

Don't think there's much you can do until the test cases are concluded.

Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

That did seem to be CK’s approach but I think the plan utterly bombed because it was just asking too much for the moment.

It is CK's approach yes and to be fair to CK they have raised a good portion of the money required to go all the way. The appeal has stagnated understandably after Christmas etc., there also seems to be an upswing in the desire to just 'get it settled'. Settled as in pay the amount owed less CT, DT and any bit of Employers NIC
