Hear all this mate. All on behalf of a state that does not give a monkeys about its taxpayers and would just as soon visit the same on those that are now currently orchestrating it should it so choose. Which I hope of course it does at some point, I’m sure all this lot have some ‘interesting’...

If I understood it correctly (big if), HMRC seemed to be saying that the statutory limit for NICs etc should not apply because if it takes HMRC 7 years to determine it’s an MCSP then those are all time barred and basically ‘it’s not fair’. TAAG barrister did point out they had options to protect...

I have seen probably 60% or so % of it and I am a layperson when it come to legislation, court workings, etc. So probably way off the mark but I think it’s possible they could be deemed an MSCP, as despite definitely being legitimate accountants, it’s hard to say they did not “promote the use...
