July 2025. Halfway through the year when it was all going to start firing back up again. Perhaps not then eh?
At this rate by the time it gets going again, systems will be old and require upgrading into new improved codebases, perhaps, and there will be another big demand. I suspect not however.Comment

The Stoke rate is a typo, if you search on linked in half of the countries remaining recruiters have posted it (the role).

Well, I was quite optimistic about the market improving a few weeks ago after a flurry of activity, but it's clear to me now that it's gotten worse, a LOT worse, if that were even possible.
It's difficult to see it ever returning to any kind of normality now.Comment

If you draw a straight line on the trajectory of Hays share price, it will go to zero in around 3-4 years from now.

It seems to be picking up for full time roles in my field as there was nothing at all from Jan to May.
I went for a 12m FTC as it was quite local but the salary wasn't listed but I have every single technical cert they wanted so we shall see if I even get interviewed.
I am getting bits and pieces of work, days here and there but nothing longer. My last gig was 13 months, don't think that will ever happen again.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

I can say with absolute 100% certainty, that's not going to ever happen again.Comment
