God, I used to watch these religiously. Didn't even tune in today. Since they started sticking two fingers up at the self employed a few years ago, I know better....

They just told me to put day rate * 5 * 46 as income and it'll all get sorted when you progress the application. And, in fairness to them, it was....

Things are a little dry this week. Becoming particularly conscious of how many of the public sector opportunities are nonsense projects designed to keep consultancies (and their donor owners) busy.

What you're seeing in this thread is contractor theorists who aren't taking into account contractor reality.
You would almost certainly be fine where you can evidence the production of the materials, were it called into question....

if you go to a specialist broker, you'll spent £750-1000 for them to tell you "Halifax, Clydesdale or Nationwide"
Their exclusive rates are a sham....
