Irritatingly, Monzo are great for everything apart from FreeAgent, which they charge you for (which doesn't feel very modern/disruptive). You use the app to authorise certain things, like a normal modern business would. But can download statements and CSVs online (and QIFs that'll go straight into FreeAgent)...

Rates aren't great at the moment. There's a shortage of roles and recruiters know. Getting a lot of "Maximum the client will pay is X, I've put things forward at higher before and they just get declined" - how do you field these? Had a phone interview last week. A panel interview (always bad) and one of them wanted to spend 98% of the time asking questions about when I'd used this or that methodology in the past, leaving 2% of the time to talk about the actual project. ffs....
