    Why shouldn't 16yr olds get the vote? They can go out to work, pay tax, be tried as an adult when they commit crimes and the future belongs to them

  • A contract… does that mean we can sue them for breach of it on the odd chance they win?

    As for promises like IR35 one just the wording shows they don’t understand that the people who get caught by IR35 aren’t self employed

    If they’ve genuinely gone bust there should be a liquidator appointed and you should be able to register your claim with them (but obviously depends on who else they owe money to and what’s left in the business)

    They also want to raise the tax free threshold to £20K and spend lots of money and they can't do that without raising tax elsewhere

    Do many sole traders get caught but IR35 or are they doing the usual thing to confusing self-employed with people who have personal service companies?...
