    Morning all, local time 0950

Sunny but hazy. Currently 22 degrees ('feels like' 24) with a high of 26 expected. Barometer remains steady.

    Sunrise 05:31; Sunset 21:01 EEST

Yesterday it reached 29 degrees so we'll see how accurate today's forecast is.

Tired this morning. The 2h shift from UK is annoying enough to mess with my head a fair bit. Today is the last working day of the week so it's not so bad.

      Morning denizens

Another sunny start, with some areas of high wispiness. It's rather breezy, though. Currently 15°C ("feels like" 10°) and becoming 23° later, though there's also a 15% chance of some showers around early evening. The barometers are down again at 1002/1009mB

        Morning all
A bit of a contrast to yesterday - there's been some precipitation overnight, and it was spitting while out on the walk. According to the radar (and by the looks of the clouds) we are about to get an almighty downpour.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Ham toasties for lunch, made with the bread baked yesterday. It worked very well

It's getting very windy now, though I gather the torrential storms and such WTFH anticipates will be largely confined to the southwest and Wales

            afternoon people
luvly sunny day here in the norfeast.
waiting for sodding clearance checks for new gig.
            PITA.
I don't understand why there can't be a standard clearance cert you can just wave at people.
            PITA.
            did i say PITFA?

Another week done, another week nearer the end of this benighted project!

It got very dark and then rained for a bit. But within an hour or so it had brightened up and now it's quite Simpsonesque out

Viz isn't out until next week and I didn't need much shopping, so I just popped down to Not-as-Big Sainsbury's. And as Google Maps asserted that the traffic on the main road was quite light, I went a bit earlier than last time and found it to be remarkable peaceful, with many spaces in the car park and few customers getting in my way in store

So that's the shopping done. And according to my calendar, I have no other commitments this weekend, so I can relax!

Tea has been a Pukka steak & kidney pie and chips

To accompany that, I started watching Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland on iPlayer

I see there's a major outage affecting Google Cloud Platform and, via knock-on effects, vast swathes of the Internet. So much for availability and resilience through redundant distributed infrastructure

This evening we went to a Negroni bar and then a wine bar. I am a bit sozzled. We leave our hotel tomorrow and move to a different one for the next two nights.

Presumably involving flights to Oslo and Dublin then back again?
