This morning I got the appointed phone call from the GP surgery's pharmacist to talk about the blood test results. I still hadn't got around to arranging for a repeat of the dodgy tests, excusing myself on the grounds of the lurgy that took over my weekend, but she found that they had a cancellation at 14:00 this afternoon so I'm off there soon
Everything else is apparently fine. There had been one of the blood tests that was outside the reference range, but she said it had been like that since at least 2015 so they figured it's just "normal for you"
afternoon
been fighting blanket weed in the pond for about two months now with envii treatment.
yesterday evening, two visitors appeared, and practically cleared it in around two hours of feeding!
wish you could hire the feckers
Or rather, I take a bottle of piss over there in the morning
I left it a little late to set off, so had to pedal quickly. I got there on time but it was a good job they were running late, because I was panting for breath like I had chronic emphysema for ten minutes

And later, I read some more of the Tesla book, in which Musk is getting the lies and self-aggrandisement in right from the start
During the course of the day, I managed to get a towel wash done
Two more days to go! Oh well, at least there's two days done
Morning all
CBS, etc, although a tad cool on our walk.
Hedgehog restaurant was used last night, and Max had a shouting match with a fox. It may be the one that is bringing her cub into the garden, not sure.
Very sunny start out, though clouds are expected to come along later. Currently 12°C and aiming for 16° this afternoon; the wind seems to have eased though apparently we can expect some strung gusts occasionally. The barometers are cautiously creeping back up at 993/1001mB
I have been out and about early today as I needed to deliver a bottle of fresh urine to the health centre, like some demented milkman
It was quite a pleasant ride over the park and back in the morning sunshine. Well, it would have been if I was in half-decent shape, rather than feeling like I was going to seize up and die after the first hundred yards or so
But I made it there and back, including an extra go on the stairs when setting out as I got downstairs to the bike's storeroom and realised that I still had my reading glasses on and, furthermore, didn't have the specimen with me
