Trundling done as I forgot about the experiment in training the neighbours
Nice afternoon out there if you like that kind of thing
Bit of a queue for Iceland up the side road (maybe five people) so I didn’t bother popping in.Comment

Tellies didn't have valves anymore.
Plus working inside in a 3M factory making tape was rather better paid, and gave day release for HNC.
After which came CEI Part II and Siliconix for nearly 10 years.
Alongside the aforementioned programming guide to the Loughborough University Modular One Computer, I found the exam questions.
Not the foggiest idea about any of it, which summed up pretty well my response at the time.
Degrees back then were rather less dumbed down than they are now.

White sky, sunless, though quite warm and humid.
Tea: chilli con carne with rice, custard (boiled over to my eternal joy) and orange segments, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Entertainment: TBD, then Sewermen at 21:00, Moon thing on BBC4 at 22:00.
I may try having a bath later to see if it stops my back itching so much.
That'll be the first one for several years, a cold shower being rather more usual.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 21 May 2020, 17:04.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

In November 1995 I got my first proper job, after a summer of fleecing tourists. I was a junior accounts assistant on £10k a year.Comment

So, to celebrate my endowment coming in, I’ve just bought another house* in Surrey.
*Note: It is a chicken house, suitable for 8 chickens, or in our case, 2 guineafowl.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Does a guineafowl need more space than a chicken? Or are you planning on increasing the guineafowl headcount?Comment

It’s clouded over rather now; not in a rainy way, just the way it does after it’s been sunny for a whileComment

Been doing my loony dancing out in the street to music played for that clap for the NHS thing. Won't have to go on the boring cross-trainer tonight.
Bit earlier hung a mesh thing in front of my office window to stop any more little birdies crashing into it. Usually I hang some old Christmas decorations which look a lot nicer but couldn't find them.
PS Don't tell my cross trainer I called him boring, he'd be upset.bloggoth
