One gets the impression they're not really sure what they're doing… they've also admitted that the entire test suite for that component will need to be rewritten for it to be able to properly test this stuff, meaning the change was originally deployed on the basis of "the tests we have pass", not "do the tests we have actually test what we've changed"

A recent update said they were going to stop commenting on the DDOS on their Twitter feed as they suspected the attackers were reading it and using the information.
