I just went over the road to the shop for a loaf of bread, in a t-shirt

Why did you want a loaf of bread in a t-shirt?

My bread tends to arrive in plastic bags.

Time for some lunch. There are sausages in the fridge, if I remember correctly, as well as bacon. I think a fry-up might be in order

              What?

              Not a sausage sarny?

Which just reminded me that I flushed ZeitPater's beloved red & brown sauce down the since yesterday evening since the brown sauce was BBE DEC 14 and the red sauce was older than that by some indeterminate time period.

I may get shot of the remains of his equally beloved Lyle's Golden Syrup shortly.

We'll not mention the Branston pickle.

No, a full fry-up was what I'd been pining for

My mum managed to ring the changes a bit by phoning me to see how I was when I was halfway through eating it, rather than while I was cooking like she usually does

There's a drawer in the utility room at my parents house that's worth £382 by my reckoning.
