The smalls were hung up and then dresses went into the WM.

Took a walk up to Waitrose. Many idiotic, rude, oblivious people in there. Got everything I wanted (plus a few spur of the moment items) except orzo pasta. They probably have some in the deli round the corner but it started raining just as I got home so I'm not going out again. I will make the planned dish with rice instead.

My fitbit was on charge, and I forgot to pick it up before I went out so all that activity will go unrecorded.

Like to meet a lady who can only fit one set of smalls in her wm.

          Afternoon denizens

Been a grey, somewhat damp day, with drizzle likely to be ongoing through the night. Comparatively mild though at 7°C, with the barometers down a little at 994/1002mB

The calendar app has popped up a notification that it's Christmas Day tomorrow. This is why I never poke my head out of the window and shout "You, boy! What day is this?" anymore

Ribs and chips for tea, again, because it's easier than trying to fit them in the freezer

Must have a mince pie too, what with it being Christmas Eve and all that

Dinner was something with chicken, tomatoes and rice. I feel it's lacking something but I'm not a good enough cook to figure out what. Three portions for the freezer.

A couple of the mince pies that came in the food parcel from the consultancy have been eaten, and very nice they were

It's rained since I got home from the shops earlier this afternoon and shows no sign of abating.

This turned out to be not true. The Fitbit app has a feature called mobile track that takes data from the accelerometers in your phone when it's not receiving data from your Fitbit.
