Town & Country Legal Services LLP, according to their website https://www.nope-no-link.co.uk, is FCA Regulated.

If you feel they're misrepresenting the nature of the alleged debt in a fraudulent way, you may like to make an official complaint (https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/how-complain, the firm's own complaints procedure is shown here https://www.nope-no-link.co.uk) and/or report them as a potential scam (https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/report-scam-us).

Just throwing this one out there, and maybe I'm missing something in a previous comment, but that letter from Town and Country refers to "an agreement you had with Felicitas" ?

Maybe I'm being stupid here, but I'm not sure that anyone had an agreement with Felicitas did they ? They didn't provide any form of employment or scheme, so what agreement are they alleging you had ?

This is a valid point in my humble opinion. Shows how amatuerish this current onslaught is

Thanks for this. I will raise this tomorrow if I get the chance. Others need to do the same, even those who are lurking. I was a lurker on here for a good few years but I have had enough

I really question this forum, why, because its always a complete new peron to this forum that brings forward the next string of events.

Could it be that the scammers are keeping this going? mmmmmmm

            looperevil are you evil?

Haha depends who you speak to if I am evil. I too would question new members motives if I was a long term member on here tbh. I am still questioning whether these so called help groups are part of this too. All I can do is show a screenshot of the call that I had with Town and Country and it will correlate with the point I registered and posted on here. I have lurked on here for a few years but got a bit spooked by this company calling me. The letters etc didn't bother me in the past.

Really awful timing for all this stress as I have a newborn baby and running on very little sleep.

All the letters I’ve ever received are in my maiden name, I have been married for almost 6 years. They’ve managed to get my new address, you’d think they’d also know my name too.

That is a very good question happychap.

And if I see any more links pointing to Town and Country, I will take action. (I have already removed them from the above posts).

Were it not for the photo of the letter posted I would agree with you but I suspect at least 1 of the new posters is above board.

The others who seem to be providing "advice" I'm not so sure about.

Personally I would be asking them to provide evidence that any money is owed but I wouldn't be providing a signature unless it's really changed over the past x years.

Also worth posting this - did everyone get the appropriate notification that the "debt" had been transferred
