I went to work and left my kids with a minder - evidence shows that kids with a stay at home parent do better, therefore stay at home mums are allowed to think I'm a crappy parent.
I smacked my son's leg occasionally. If you didn't, you're allowed to think I'm a child abuser (and a crappy parent).
My kids had homemade pureed food. If you fed yours out of jars I'm allowed to think you're a crappy parent.
You took your son with you went to the toilet. I put mine in a cage. You're allowed to think I'm a crappy parent, and I'm allowed to think you're a crappy parent.
Personally I wouldn't have left my 2 and 4 year old in a flat, but there's lots of things I did that the McCanns probably wouldn't have done.
Until someone can show me the perfect parent, I'm not going to judge other parents for errors of judgement unless they've been deliberately cruel or abusive.
