Since you were so extremely explicit that any decision you make, as a parent, which can end up with an abduction, isn't a good one the decision to go on holiday clearly isn't a good one.
Woolly.
Leaving your children in a room asleep, while you go drinking {however far away it was} with friends, is.
It is an extreme case, and the odds are low of a kidnapping happening, but neglect it is.
Most parents wouldn't have done it.
Any that have, then seen this case, are highly likely not to do it again.Comment

Also, you can't say if they left them alone somewhere else, it wouldn't have happened, as it could have happened. I stay with my kids all the time on holiday. I do not leave anywhere they are.
The abduction of that child was as a result of many decisions culminating in the child a)being left alone b)being in that room. If EITHER of those hadn't happened, things would probably be very different.

But then he also claims letting your child die of MRSA is OK, as long as they aren't kidnapped first, so maybe we should discount his opinion?
They had a choice. They made the wrong one. If this was sally the slut off the estate, we'd be lambasting her for being selfish, feckless and blaming her for the problems she's caused. I remember a thread not so long ago which had a single mother locking her kids in and getting on the piss. You all piled in. At lest she had the intellect to lock the damned doors.Comment

He said it not me. I'm merely pointing out his lax thought process.
Leaving them in the car and going in a shop could lead to the kids being abducted. We don't do this.
Leaving them in the park next to the pub, and going for a pint, could lead to the kids being abducted. We don't do this.
DO you get the drift yet? Has it sunk in? If they had taken the proper option of staying with their kids, the kid wouldn't have been abducted.Comment

The decision to go on holiday is always a good one, if you're not selfish, and feckless enough to think leaving them alone is a good idea. If they had said, no, sorry, we can't get a sitter, we'll sit this one out, as most would here, there would be no discussion; I don't see how that can't seem to process with you.Comment

Fewer people can understand leaving your children 300 yards away while you get drunk.....
The question to ask is:-
Would you call social services if you saw each example happen.....
And that is why many people don't like the mccann's because they did something which has led to others losing access to their children while they haven't....merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

You do realise that levelling personal insults doesn't actually change any of the facts? Like how you said you don't take special precautions about MRSA "because that's not abduction". And that you said any choice which leads to abduction is a bad one. Which includes deciding to go on holiday... that is a choice they made which directly led to the abduction.
But you seem quite unable to grasp the entire concept, so never mind.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
