Doing a BBQ now instead. Burgers, sausages, chicken and some onion rings and wedges should do it. I think
I can justify it. 60 miles in two hours should have burnt some calories.
Really don't understand this BMI nonsense, if you use this as a strict rule of thumb then by looking at the any of the rugby teams in the six nations the average player would be classified as morbidly obese according to these scales.
A pro rugby player is not typical, saying a scale aimed at average people is no good as it doesn't work for outliers isn't sensible.

I don't think driving uses that much energy. Don't you have power steering?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I still think BMI is a tad carp. I know the rugby comparison is a tad on the extreme, but the problem is all about societies fixation on food. You're told what you can and cannot eat, everywhere you look the food has calorie content outlined, number of units for drinks.
Fact of the matter is there is too much convenience foods available, people haven't a clue how to cook and rely on cooking carp and having food the easy way.
People just aren't taking responsibility for their diet or health and then wonder why they are overweight.

Indeed. The best method is body fat percentage. I used top have scales that measure that - but they were inaccurate. And scales can only tell so much - only sure way is immersion in water.
But at least BMI could be changed to take account of width across the shoulders.
