                    It is the politics of envy and jealousy. The downtrodden(my arse!) can't stand to see others doing well from their own industrious efforts. Levelling up to some means bringing everyone else down to their own stinking level.

                      And? If that ended up translating to a wonderful place to live - clean with excellent public services - I wouldn't mind. Rather than the same mess just paying more for it
