To respect the late queen's will, the guns will be aimed at random ethnic minorities in the crowd.

Save this kind of unpleasant guff for the pub if you can't contain yourself. With luck you'll get a pint thrown in your face for being such an absolute berk.

Famously racist, the queen. Maybe you can go to the pub with Billy. Get yourself a little table in the back.

I think "notoriously" is better suited.

I know you don't have a hope in hell of supplying one, but Citation Required.

Or is this an example of the childish, blinkered rubbish that passes for humour these days?

Tax payer's money? Are you aware of the "Sovereign Grant"? Judging by your post you don't have a clue.

Firstly, not a penny of that was taxpayers money. That would have required government approval, and no government would have sanctioned that. Any contribution from the Queen came from her personal funds, which are substantial.
Secondly, he's many things, but not a paedophile, as she was over the legal age of consent. You could call him a suspected rapist if you like, that would be fair, given that he settled rather than risking a trial.
Thirdly, if that's the only thing you can say at a time like this, you really have failed to read the room.

                @PCTNN

Feel free to create a separate thread about how awful Queen Elizabeth was and the Royal Family in general is. But no more of that here.

                  And, in an important development:

Royal beekeeper has informed the Queen's bees that the Queen has died and King Charles is their new boss in bizarre tradition dating back centuries

                  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-new-boss.html

The strange ritual is underpinned by an old superstition that not to tell them of a change of owner would lead to the bees not producing honey, leaving the hive or even dying.

He placed black ribbons tied into bows on the hives

Did he tell the queen bee?

                    Nope.

                    Left that to the workers.

Quite interesting to have the news coverage on in the background. What an incredibly weird thing it must be for Charles and the kids to be processing in this way, and all the other pomp and ceremony that is happening. Seeing it live brings it home a bit more.
