Not sure that a man who got divorced 3 times, each one after one of his mistresses became pregnant - not sure that's quite the family values the Tories used to promote.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Reminds me of John Major's back to basics campaign. After attacking single mothers and LGB people, ministers revealed they were making single mothers or were LGB.Originally posted by WTFH View Post

You realise I'm not Rishi, right? I can't think of a chancellor who has made bolder, more decisive steps in modern times. Obviously the backdrop was quite different.Originally posted by jamesbrown View Post
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
If true, he was a pretty ineffectual voice in Cabinet.

You realise that being "ideologically in favour of smaller state and lower taxes" has nothing to do with decisiveness or boldness, right?Originally posted by d000hg View Post

For someone "ideologically in favour of smaller state and lower taxes", he has a very bold and decisive way of showing the opposite.

So now you're saying he was bold and decisive? Just in the wrong direction. Can you not even remember your own argument?Originally posted by jamesbrown View Post

Lynton Crosby was supporting Nadhim Zahawi yesterday.
Lyton Crosby tends to rely on the negative to get people in power. While it works against some politicians, it doesn't always work as Zac Goldsmith and Sadiq Khan can tell you."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Shining examples of what people want in a politician - one very rich ninny and and an egotist? Goldsmith has never achieved anything, and Kahn's record in London is absolutely dismal.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostLynton Crosby was supporting Nadhim Zahawi yesterday.

Goldsmith campaigned using islamophobia not realising that anyone can be a Muslim.
When Khan went up against Bailey, Khan had to point out to Bailey that the job of Mayor gives you no power. (Anyway Westminister council is no longer Tory meaning Khan get do his traffic schemes if he can get the money.)"You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
