I personally think that free movement within the EU is a good thing. After all we had only a 5% unemployment rate, which is what most economists call full employment.
But whatever you think about immigration, the ""Brexit is bad" belief regarding the long-term economy is a valid one.
My belief is that the UK economy is too weak and unbalanced for hard Brexit to be a success.
As I've said I may be wrong, but it's not going to affect me particularly, so I will be watching with interest, for the entertainment value
      Only 5%!!!!
Do you know the areas/jobs that are afected by the unemployment?

Given that a zero hours contract with no work offered doesn't count as unemployed I really wouldn't trust that statement. We are only there due to a lot of people working part time due to insane incentives to work just a bit and no more...

Over 1.2 million in the UK are on zero hour contracts. Are you suggesting the government is wrong to consider those individuals when reporting employment statistics?

32 million working adults in the UK (conservative estimate)
          Unemployment rate 5.6%

          Unemployment rate without ZHC 9.35%

Zero hours contracts are part time jobs and most people working zero hours contracts want a zero hours contract because they don't want a full time job i.e. students and mothers.

Yes, they have similar attitudes to tax avoidance.

They don't like to mention they do it themselves.
The Guardian used to be a reasonable paper with good writers, the Iraq war stuff was very good.

Well I don't see one, I think they're a good idea. It's allowing part-time work expand, which is evidently what people want.
