It's not about rejoining. If Lab/Lib win the next election then the UK will begin the march towards EU integration. In 10/20 years after numerous successive changes to the EU trade deal the UK will end up as a defacto member of the EU. Just look at economic slump that's about to happen:

Things are fine until the project goes wrong, then perhaps being found out that you've been moonlighting won't go down well.

Actually it looks like a downward trend:
Jan-Mar 2019 EU exports - 45,818
Jan Mar 2022 EU exports - 42,019
That is an 8% drop in exports in goods.
Service exports to the EU have fallen by nearly 20%

If you're non-resident you still pay tax on UK earnings. The main difference is when you become resident you are taxed on worldwide income.
HMRC don't use the term tax-resident, they use the term resident.

UK employment income is covered by the double taxation treaty but if you are actually working in the Czech Republic it isn't UK employment income and therefore the Czech tax authorities will demand tax in the Czech Republic....

If you work in the UK and pay tax there, then the double taxation treaty applies and you won't pay tax in the Czech Republic, however if you are working in the Czech Republic and you pay tax in the UK then the Czech tax authorities may argue you should have paid tax in the Czech Republic, charge you...Last edited by BlasterBates; 5 June 2022, 13:07.
