Could equally well be at this clientco where I've seen be sent to end customer a seemingly helpfully but in reality utterly unhelpful advice regarding a security issue.

Oh well another problem to fix on Wednesday's conference call...
merely at clientco for the entertainment

Phone call came through a while ago. MRI scan done. Brain OK.
One slipped disc in her neck, she has been in a lot of pain.
Operation tomorrow (unless the three surgeries this afternoon are quicker than planned.
We should have her home by the end of the week.

...but she's going for spinal surgery, so
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Deep breath and get the cheque book out!

At least it's good news that it can be sorted.

I ventured outside. It's not too bad out there now - a bit of thin sunshine making its way through the cloud cover is taking the edge off the slightly chilly breeze

Having checked the Corolla's tyre pressures (all a tad low - maybe the cooler ambient temperature has something to do with it), I headed off to the Royal Mail place out on the edge of tomorrow to pick up a parcel containing a couple of non-Amazon books. Then down to Sainsbury's, where I was able to confirm why it is that I haven't been able to get the car washed recently: the people that do it were all heading off to the back of the car park somewhere clutching assorted things they'd bought for their lunch. Fair enough that they have a break after the busy lunchtime period; but the car's getting a bit mucky now, so I'll have to find a time to get there that doesn't coincide with it

Anyway, a couple of odd bits of shopping were done and I got the car filled up, ready for the coming week at ClientCo

That counts as a productive day.

We were in your part of the world the other day - fuelled up at the garage with the Amazon lockers. We did give you a wave on the way past! Sadly no time to time to stop as I had to be in Kirby Muxloe about 15 mins later.

                  Bored. Now.

Tidied the lab up a bit.

Nearly time to off bugger down the hill.

It was raining earlier but it seems to have stopped for the moment.

Judging by the way the sky has turned, it's almost here now

Ditto. Very dull and grey out of what I can see of the windows.
