Bloody ridiculous. It sends totally the wrong message - "you must be fully invested at all times".
I am 40% in cash right now - now that I give a tulip about the pennies in interest on it. I just see zero point in buying equities at todays crazy prices. Buy low sell high remember...

Yeah, first half page that is the critical part.
Assuming you actually get as far as a human being looking at your CV, they aren't going to look any further if its not a hit on the first half page.

I hope not - all that work I put into make a beatiful looking PDF and they ruin it in Word !! But yes, quite often they do.
If I get an interview I used to take along a printed copy and had it to the interviewer, for vid conf I just send them the file, and pull it on screen at some point...

HMRC just sent me a £600 rebate, I've no idea what for, but ta! So I bought a Mac Mini, as I need to be able to build some code on Mac now. But it will make a top class video conferencing box, where OBS runs nicely instead of crashing like it does on Linux. OBS doesn't cut it ? there is better software...

I am the same, an in person meeting is so much better. Before all these f'ing Teams calls, it was a rare thing indeed that I would get an interview and not get offered the job - due to my stunning personality obviously. Somehow video calls just get in the way of providing an opportunity to make a real...

BTW - Some of these reasonably well paid train AI to code jobs on LI are a scam. Apparently the way it works is they invite you to an interview, for which you must accept Ts&Cs, waiving the right to pursue them as part of any class action lawsuit being one of them - a waiver you can opt out of by...
