I think the OP is crediting the client/agency with joined up thinking they are not capable of. Just because it's hard to hire/onboard poeple, doesn't mean you have leverage. I have worked on plenty of large vendor projects where they bring in folks with no experience of whatever they're supposed to...

TBH I'd just prefer to stay with Clarity, but it's a decision that's been taken off me. I really miss outside IR35 contracts where I'm not forced to be reliant on middlemen who may or may not be compliant with some random set of rules.

PSR have ditched Clarity - any recommendations?
Well it's not looking good for Clarity. I'm currently working through PSR for a government client and they just contacted me to tell me that they note the FCSA accreditation was removed on 27th November, so they are no longer going to work with them, and unless folks request otherwise they'll transition...

I've been running NAS for 20 years. I always buy whatever disks are cheapest. Think I've had 2 disks fail on me. Personally I use FreeNAS on a very old TS140 Lenovo desktop. FreeNAS uses ZFS under the covers, which means even if the hardware dies, I can just transplant the drives into any other box,...
