    Morning all

Blue sky with chunks of fluff. Signs of overnight rain. Currently 19 degrees with a high of 22 expected. Unlikely to rain. Barometer down to 1019 mBar.

Went to bed at 2130 last night and slept until shortly before my alarm went off.

I found someone on the Olio app who wanted a load of boxes for moving and they've just been round to take some. They might come back for the rest, which would be great. I'm trying to encourage them to take the sheets of packing paper too.

Bed stripped and fitted sheet / pillow cases are in the WM.

Olio app- must remember to get it..

Afternoon suddenly not too hot so I've done some housework.

      Lunch was cold pizza.

Lunch was procured from a little cafe a mere two minutes up the road, that was heartily recommended by the person who collected the boxes this morning.

I had a nduja and mozarella toasted sandwich and a slice of walnut honey cake.

The laundry was brought in because of the ominous looking clouds and a quick check of the forecast suggests showers may now be likely this afternoon.

Today was pretty hectic - enough so that I never got around to having any lunch

On the other hand, it was mainly actual coding and very little in the way of meetings

And I found time to pop along to the pharmacy for the usual monthly stuff.

Just realised I'd forgotten to trundle the recycling bin back in!

Luckily, all the other houses seem to have been equally lackadaisical, as it was still out there on the pavement. So it's back now

Tea has been a rack of ribs and fries. Very nice, and makes up some of the calories I missed out on at breakfast and lunch

I liked the Ford Escort Mk. I earlier. My mum had one of those for a few years in the 1970s, though it was blue rather than banana yellow or bronze

Tonight's first fillum was How to Murder Your Wife (1965) starring Jack Lemmon and Terry-Thomas, which I haven't seen since some time in the 1970s as far as I recall, though maybe I caught a repeat in the 1980s? Anyway, it's probably not shown very much nowadays because it's astonishingly sexist in so many ways, though in a tongue-in-cheek way. It's quite clever and good fun if you can get past all that, though it's a bit much in parts by modern standards

And then a rewatch of V for Vendetta (2006) because… well why not? Whichever of the dimwits wins the Tory leadership vote, it's probably where we'll be in a few years, so one might as well be prepared

                    Goodnight all
