Turkish Airlines flight TK707 has finally taken off from Kabul, which I'm sure is a huge relief to all concerned

Now it has to get out of Afghan airspace…

Yes, Boeing 777, flight TK707. They've just crossed into Turkmenistan so they should be OK now

It comes and goes. There was another Hercules buzzing around on a complicated route south of Kabul earlier which then vanished. I assume whether or not there's anything to see is down to power and Internet at the moment

The statistics widget on the left shows 0 data sources active if you zoom into Kabul at the moment

I'm contemplating getting off my arse and taking a walk up to the high street to procure some lunch. There's nothing inspiring in the fridge.
