In other having-to-get-up-in-the-morning news, I had to tear myself away briefly to go and make a round of toast as I was feeling quite hungry by mid-morning. At this rate, I'll end up turning into one of those people who has breakfast that isn't just caffeineComment

Highlights of the hour-long planning meeting we just had included a muttered "So many PowerPoints…" as somebody looked for some important information, and the delivery manager who's taking over getting booted out by Teams for trying to add a note to a task, then loudly declaring "Bloody Teams is a nightmare!" once they'd got back in
And my 2 hour meeting was resolved by "Oh so we just do it the way I suggested in the beginning & you signed off but then after a staff change decided the spec was wrong? So bye-bye to the way you dreamt up last week"
You know I have been trying to make work but can't because a cockroach off its face on crystal meth could have made a better suggestion (I didn't put it that way when I suggested it wasn't my recommendation).
Only a week to go live watch the stress grow.
