      Pollux.

Tea: spag (the last of the quick cook variety) with freshly prepared and rather fiery bol, a random yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Entertainment: the remainder of E3 of the R4 prog about The Unknown Warrior, the listening of which was interrupted by the advent of the roofing engineers.

"The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)".

Surviving the stone age on 4 at 19:00.

      Well that's getting more difficult.

Who'd have thunk that living in the stone age would be so difficult.

I felt sorry for the fish.

"The Spy who loved me (1977)" is not providing much in the way of grippingness.

Octopussy, I would venture, is likely to provide even less.

I wonder what dear old Uncle Dickie will provide.

Some enthusiastic rainfall going on. It's actually quite a relaxing rainfall, not being out in it.

Watched a bit of Tom Kerridge on the BBC trying to save pubs.

Now watching Truth Seekers on Amazon Prime to see if it's any good.

                      Very nice as always

Occasional fireworks going off here too, though there are probably more across the city in Belgrave, which has a very large Hindu population
