Who drinks tea at night? I have it with biscuits in the morning.

Spag bol for tea, and exceedingly nice it was

That was the last of the packet of wholewheat spaghetti that was itself the last one on the shelf in Sainsbury's back in March or maybe April; it was when pasta was starting to appear in limited quantities again, so probably April. So if 500g is enough to constitute a stockpile, it was the last of the stockpile

Brisk walk around the block and the green ring is closed (along with the other two, closed earlier), so I can now sit back and relax

Newsnight has a good piece on the end of the era.

                      500gm since March?

Stone me, I go through that much in about 5 weeks.

Though if it's wholemeal or whatever I can see that it might take a bit longer, if only because of the bowel movements it induces.

The commentary on "Diamonds are forever" duly watched & dvd dispatched to the outer darkness of one of the piles in the front bedroom.

I think there's a couple of Roger Moore Bonds (including "Octopussy"), plus "Casino Royale" with that recent fellow, and "Casino Royale" with David Niven from about 1967. I think this last has Woody Allen and Peter Sellers in it too, as a means of fomenting complete & utter disaster.

                      It's a fecking comedy.
